As I go door to door, I have discovered there are a lot of questions about early voting. Here is what you need to know:
1. Be sure to complete the entire ballot, front and back. Judicial election and retention votes and the question about altering our state constitution are on the backside.
2. Any ballots received by the election office after the polls close on Election Day will not be counted. They should be mailed today (Nov. 3) or delivered by hand to the election office at 510 N Main, Suite 101. Do NOT take the ballot to your polling place. If you would like someone to hand deliver your ballot for you, leave a message at 316-262-4716. We’ll deliver sealed ballots.
3. If you requested an advanced ballot, you must use that ballot. If take it to your polling place, you will have to vote provisionally on Election Day. While no one can tell you to leave without voting, we want to make sure your vote is counted. Call 913-733-3667 or email firstname.lastname@example.org if you have trouble.
Bring your ID. You can choose a paper ballot or to use a voting machine at any of these satellite polling places
